Gillibrand in Iowa

At a March town hall meeting in Des Moines, New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand said Iowa’s floods highlighted the need for urgent public policy changes. She recalled her own experiences witnessing devastation from hurricanes Sandy and Irene in upstate New York.

Gillibrand called climate change “truly the greatest threat to humanity that exists.”
