Steyer in Iowa

Steyer’s campaign published an extensive “Justice-Centered” climate plan that includes a commitment to declare climate change a national emergency and support for Green New Deal legislation.

“It’s the most important issue,” Steyer said. “It’s an international crisis and it continues to be ignored on the national debate stage. Climate is affecting communities, often low-income, often communities of color, and we need to address it. This race needs to be centered around bold climate change solution, and I’m the candidate who can do that.”
