O'Rourke in Iowa

O’Rourke said the effects of climate change have already been seen in several natural disasters, including Hurricane Harvey, which dumped more than 50 inches of rain on parts of Texas in 2017, setting a new record for the amount of rain produced by a single storm; last year’s devastating wildfires in California; and this year’s flooding in Iowa, where floodwaters in Davenport have now surpassed the record levels of 1993.
