LCV Statement on Tom Steyer's Justice-Centered Climate Plan

Following the release of Tom Steyer’s Justice-Centered Climate Plan, the League of Conservation Voters released the following statement from Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld:

“We are excited to see that Tom Steyer’s Justice-Centered Climate Plan prioritizes community driven climate solutions while investing in family sustaining jobs, ending giveaways to big polluters, and setting a goal of a 100% clean energy economy by no later than 2045. This is the kind of leadership we need to take on the biggest crisis of our time. We applaud Steyer for releasing a strong plan that reflects his long history of advocating for climate action. Voters are demanding bold climate solutions, and all serious presidential candidates must put forward ambitious plans.”
