Warren says climate change and wildfires threaten farmworkers, with only two states — California and Washington — requiring farmworkers to have access to shade and water.

She pledged to move forward on a ban of the pesticide chlorpyrifos, or Roundup, which the Trump administration rescued from elimination. The chemical’s No. 1 producer, Bayer, said it will cease production of the pesticide following a ban in California.
