He said democracy can’t survive without change in an economy skewed to benefit those at the top.

That led to a discussion of clean energy and its impact on the economy.

After saying President Donald Trump should be the last climate-denier to ever live in the White House, Bennet said, “If we don’t deal with climate change, our economy will be destroyed.

“On the other hand, there is a huge opportunity for us to lead the world in driving clean technology,” Bennet said.

Bennet said he would invest in the production of clean-energy technology to be exported overseas. Right now, China is the only country participating in that market space, he said.
