Energy storage and soil management are two topics to hone in on when talking about climate change, and Buttigieg said a large part of that is asking rural America “be part of this project.

“One thing I was excited to learn more about here in my visit today… is that we need to look to rural America through things like soil management and farming practices for the 21st century,” Buttigieg said. “To be part of this national project of how are we going to confront and prevent climate change. Remember rural America arguably has the most to lose because of what’s happening to our growing cycles.”
