LCV Statement on Elizabeth Warren’s 100% Clean Energy for America Plan

Following the release of Senator Elizabeth Warren’s 100 percent Clean Energy for America plan, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) issued the following statement from SVP of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld:

“We commend Senator Warren for this latest addition to her climate record in the U.S. Senate and her other recent proposals to accelerate clean energy research, development and manufacturing and protect our public lands and waters. Warren’s plan sets a clear timeline to reach 100 percent clean electricity, 100 percent clean vehicles, 100 percent clean buildings and more—all while centering people and communities on the front lines of climate impacts and ensuring fossil fuel workers are not left behind. The next president must make addressing the climate crisis a day one priority.”
